Since opening in 1998, Womble Carlyle’s Washington, D.C., Office has more than doubled in size and is continuing to grow.
The firm’s Real Estate Team represents lenders, developers, institutional investors and other key players in the metropolitan area, with a focus on serving the middle market. Team members have assisted clients in completing recent transactions both downtown and in the suburbs.
Our Government Affairs team advocates for mid-sized clients and other companies throughout the firm’s footprint with federal lawmakers and agencies. D.C. litigators have won major victories for our clients in employment, contract, white collar and real estate matters. We also boast a full-service communications practice, with a wide variety of broadcast, cable, and telecommunications work.
In August 2011, Womble Carlyle moved to its new D.C. office at 1200 Nineteenth Street. The LEED Platinum Certified building includes the latest green construction and green operations techniques, helping the firm reduce its carbon footprint through sustainable, eco-friendly practices, just as our clients are doing.
