As a Corporate and Securities attorney, Matar Diouf represents clients in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and venture financings. His work includes preparing and reviewing capitalization tables, as well as coordinating due diligence review and regulatory filings. In addition, Matar also advises clients on corporate governance and corporate law matters. Clients also rely on Matar’s experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing a range of transactional and ancillary documents, contracts, and organizational documents, including those connected with the formation, capitalization and maintenance of corporations, limited liability companies and other business entities.
Matar also has first-hand experience managing audacious projects. In 2014, with grant funding from the United Nations, he led the development of medium-scale solar energy systems in West Africa. This work included earning support from the local rural residents, forming a nonprofit organization to oversee the projects, and negotiating various agreements and contracts with a local power company and contractors. Today the project provides power to more than 100 homes and farms.
