Sam is a litigator in Womble Carlyle’s Raleigh office. He is a Raleigh native whose experience includes federal clerkships at the trial and appellate levels. Sam joined the firm following his clerkship with Fourth Circuit Judge Allyson K. Duncan.
During law school at the University of Pennsylvania, Sam was a Senior Editor of the Law Review and Co-Chair of the Moot Court Board. He was also a member of Penn Law’s Supreme Court Clinic, where he helped draft multiple certiorari- and merits-stage briefs filed with the U.S. Supreme Court.
Prior to law school, Sam was a Teach For America corps member in Brooklyn, NY.
