Kim Kelly Mann represents national and regional financial institutions in all aspects of real estate secured lending and mortgage lending, with a strong depth of experience in construction lending and construction loan credit facilities and financings. Kim has extensive experience providing counsel to financial institutions in secured and unsecured commercial lending, term loans, revolving loans and lines of credit, letters of credit, guarantees, limited guarantees, carve out guarantees, loan participations, intercreditor agreements, subordination agreements, financing of ground leases and federal government leasehold financing and assignments of proceeds under U.S government leases. Kim also has significant experience representing lenders in tax increment financings and other development financing assistance arrangements with economic development authorities and municipalities.
Projects that she has closed are located throughout the United States with a concentration in the southeast and mid-atlantic areas, and range from multifamily, mixed use residential and commercial and retail power centers, to single tenant build-to-suit, neighborhood shopping centers, office parks, and U.S. government leased facilities, from warehouse and distribution facilities to hotels, student and military housing, and assisted living facilities, and also include golf course, recreation and resort and retirement living developments.
Kim also provides counsel to financial institutions in connection with debt restructuring, defaulted loan workouts, deed in lieu transactions, real estate owned (REO), foreclosures, receiverships, title insurance and loan sales.
Kim is a founding member of the Piedmont Triad Chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Network, a national organization of executive women in the commercial real estate industry. She was active in the formation of the Piedmont Triad Chapter and served as one of the original board members of the Chapter and as its first President.
