She is an experienced litigator who focuses her practice in the area of representing businesses and individuals in complex civil litigation. She has been selected as one of the top 50 female attorneys in North Carolina in 2017 by Super Lawyers.
Mary Craven Adams is a partner in the Business Litigation Group in the Firm’s Winston-Salem office. An experienced litigator in federal and state court, she focuses her practice in the areas of complex civil business litigation, employment litigation, and medical malpractice defense. She has litigated an array of cases running the gamut from pharmaceutical litigation to shareholder disputes, employee defections, litigation involving non-compete agreements and business torts. Mary has also worked in the management and defense of mass tort and product liability litigation for several different industries. Mary has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America publication for more than a decade. She is presently a North Carolina Super Lawyers in Business Litigation, was named as one of the Top 40 Under 40 Business Leaders in the Triad in 2011, a Woman Extraordinaire in North Carolina’s 2012 Business Leaders, and selected as one of the top 50 female attorneys in North Carolina in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well as ranked as a top 100 attorney in North Carolina by Super Lawyers.
In her spare time, Mary spends time with her husband and their four children, and enjoys traveling, writing, and outdoor activities.
