Bill Womble, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney. He has handled cases ranging from the most complex class action suits to fact-intensive products liability and individual long-term disability claims matters. He is particularly skilled at teamwork with the client in finding and developing the facts that led up to a lawsuit, understanding a product or a complex disability claim file, and establishing a strategy to successfully arrive at a favorable result.
Bill’s integrity and skill have earned him the respect of clients, fellow litigators and federal and state judges throughout North Carolina and the Fourth Circuit.
He has represented disability insurers in defense of claims for benefits, and extracontractual claims. His work regularly entails conflicts over broad discovery that goes beyond the merits of a particular plaintiff’s claim. He frequently counsels senior management in these areas.

He has successfully defended the designers, developers and manufacturers of consumer products sold in the U.S. ranging from airplanes and propane to appliances, and medical devices including angioplasty equipment, prosthetics and immunoglobulin.

He counsels manufacturers and distributors on supply-chain contracts and consumer protection, including instructions, warnings and warranties.
