Spectrum Solution for TV Broadband

The FCC’s National Broadband Plan has caused considerable consternation among over-the-air television broadcasters. The FCC wants broadcasters to surrender 120 MHz of the television spectrum for repurposing to broadband. But many broadcasters say this will limit their future options for providing digital programming. Rather than ask television broadcasters to surrender spectrum space, the FCC should look to local broadcasters to drive broadband service.
