About Site Tools
Emphasizing a need for flexible regulatory policies, the Commission has released a full copy of the Report and Order In the Matter of Preserving the Open Internet Broadband Industry Practice (the “Open Access Order”). The rules established in the Open Access Order, more aptly described as guidelines, focus on three basic principles: “transparency,” “no blocking,” and “no unreasonable discrimination.” The rules will become effective 60 days after the date of the Federal Register notice announcing the decision of the Office of Management and Budget regarding approval of the information collection requirements.
