Washington, D.C. Associates Host Interactive Panel for Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association (WMACCA), New To In-House Committee: "If I Knew Then, What I Know Now..."

Initiated by Womble Carlyle's DC office associates, the firm hosted a panel discussion and networking reception on Thursday, August 21, for members of the Washington Metropolitan Area Corporate Counsel Association (WMACCA) and the Association of Corporate Counsel's (ACC) New To In-House Committee. The theme of "If I Knew Then, What I Know Now..." formed the basis of the presentations at Tabaq Bistro along the U Street Corridor in DC.

Seasoned attorneys in the legal industry shared their experiences and real-world lessons learned along their professional journey. Attendees received practical advice for a successful career in the legal industry and had the opportunity to ask an attorney panel to address specific questions or issues. Panelists included: Sol Glasner, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, The MITRE Corporation; Manik Rath, Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, LMI Government Consulting, and President-Elect for WMACCA; and Mollie Roy, Managing Associate General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, Freddie Mac. Pam Rothenberg, Womble Carlyle's Washington, D.C. office managing member,  moderated the panel.
