Beth Jones, Liz Riley Led Title IX Training Session

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Womble Carlyle attorneys Beth Jones and Liz Riley conducted a day-long Title IX Training Session for members of the North Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities (NCICU). Almost 80 campus leaders from 29 institutions gathered Feb. 22nd at Guilford College in Greensboro to study changes in federal law and guidance from the Office of Civil Rights regarding the prevention of and response to sexual violence.
 
NCICU is comprised of 36 non-profit, private colleges and universities accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
 
Jones and Riley are members of Womble Carlyle’s multi-disciplinary Education Team.
