WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Womble Carlyle Education Team attorneys Liz Riley , Beth Jones, Ted Claypoole, Ran Bell and Edward Griggs will be presenting legal updates to college and university administrators at the North Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities Association (NCICU) Administrative Meeting in October.  The team will be speaking to groups of Student Affairs Officers, Chief Academic Officers, Institutional Development Officers, Alumni Affairs and Public Information Officers of NCICU member institutions about recent legal changes that may affect colleges and universities in the state.
 
The sessions will be held October 18th at Wake Forest University. NCICU is comprised of 36 non-profit, private colleges and universities accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
 
Jones, Riley, Claypoole, Bell and Griggs are members of Womble Carlyle’s multi-disciplinary Education Team.
