The first seminar covered various issues related to government funding agreements such as the how-to’s of relationship building, when to call a lobbyist, what ethical boundaries influence an agreement, sole source awards, protecting intellectual property, overhead rates, and truthful certifications and representations.
Womble Carlyle lawyers and speakers for the seminar, Jim Kearney, Tim McClain and Holly Svetz, have combined experience of more than 70 years in the government contract process. Throughout the series, they will focus on anticipated new issues and hot topics related to government contracts, grants and other agreements.
