Event Recap: Psychiatric Disabilities the ADA

On September 20, 2007, Beth Tyner Jones presented a Labor and Employment Lunch and Learn hosted by Womble Carlyle at the Hilton Raleigh-Durham. Beth discussed the "Intersection of Psychiatric Disabilities and the ADA: A Roadmap to Compliance," in her interactive presentation to more than 50 human resources professionals and in-house counsel from various industries.
The presentation focused on what mental disorders qualify as disabilities, when employers need to make accommodations, and how employers should deal with troubled employees.
