Government Funding Agreements Seminar: Feb.21

Womble Carlyle will host its second program in the three-part series, Your Role in the Life of Government Funding Agreements, at the Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, North Carolina, on Thursday, February 21, 2008. While the first seminar covered various issues related to initiating government funding agreements, the second seminar will focus on Nurturing and Raising Your Government Funding Agreements. The program will address the following issues and questions: 

  • Updates on the latest changes in federal rules, including requirements for contractor ethics programs, time & material contracting, and more
  • Can you or should you protest?
  • Negotiating subcontracts 
  • Contracting/agreements officer and technical representative communications
  • Pitfalls in task order contracting 
  • New T&M rules 
  • Invention reporting, marking, and clarification of IP rights

Womble Carlyle lawyers and speakers for the seminar, Jim Kearney, Tim McClain and Holly Svetz, have combined experience of more than 70 years in the government contract process. Throughout the series, they will focus on anticipated new issues and hot topics related to government contracts, grants and other agreements.
