Greg Chabon Speaks At Management Forum

Womble Carlyle attorney Greg Chabon, co-chair of the firm's Supply Chain Management team, was invited to speak at the Fifth Annual Forum on Commitment Management: Shaping Change and Driving Value Through Lean Contracting. The forum was sponsored by the International Association for Contract and Commercial Management (IACCM).
The forum brought together procurement, sourcing, contracts management and project management officials from across North America.
Chabon participated in a discussion on "Lawyers and Added Value: Brand Image, Reality and Perception." The discussion focused on the role of attorneys in the contracting process and how companies and lawyers can work together to minimize risks and increase business.
Joining Chabon was California Western School of Law Professor Thomas Barton; Loretta Cecil, Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of McKesson; and Tim McCarthy, Director of Contracts and Pricing for Rockwell Automation. Russell Stevenson, the Senior Vice-President and General Counsel of Ciena Corporation, will moderate the discussion. The forum takes place April 11-13 in New Orleans.
