Hunt to Speak at Elon's Distinguished Lecture Series on April 29
Jim Hunt, former Governor of North Carolina and Womble Carlyle member, will give a lecture on April 29th as part of the 2007-2008 Joseph M. Bryan Distinguished Leadership Lecture Series sponsored by Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. Jim Hunt is a nationally-renowned leader in the area of education and during his four terms as Governor, Hunt's initiatives enhanced the quality of teaching and provided programs for children to achieve early educational success. He went on to develop the Smart Start program and eventually founded The James B. Hunt, Jr. Institute for Educational Leadership and Policy within the University of North Carolina system and the Institute for Emerging Issues at North Carolina State University.
