Jack Hicks to Speak on IP Issues Facing Nanotechnology Companies

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Womble Carlyle Intellectual Property attorney Jack Hicks will be speaking April 1st at the North Carolina Nanotechnology Commercialization Conference.
Hicks will be speaking on “Dealing with intellectual property issues” as part of a session addressing the Business Side of Nanotechnology. Hicks will give entrepreneurs advice to help successfully commercialize a technology and grow a nanotechnology company.
The North Carolina Nanotechnology Conference is scheduled for March 31-April 1 at the Koury Convention Center in Greensboro. Other conference participants include nanotechnology entrepreneurs, research scientists and venture fund investors.
A respected patent attorney with more than 20 years’ experience, Jack Hicks also holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has extensive experience representing clients with patent matters relating to emerging technologies. He is a frequent author and speaker on intellectual property issues related to nanotechnology.
