Jimmy Kirkland to Speak at Georgia Environmental Conference

Jimmy F. Kirkland, a member of Womble Carlyle’s Toxic Tort and Environmental Litigation Group in the firm’s Atlanta office, is speaking at the 3rd Annual Georgia Environmental Conference on August 28, 2008 in Savannah. Hosted by the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, the conference is the state’s most advanced and comprehensive instruction on today’s environmental programs. Kirkland will participate in a panel on the topic of “Environmental Crime / Incident Response: Do’s and Don’ts” which will include case studies on proper steps to take if an incident occurs and how to deal with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
