Lampe Speaks Out on Mortgage Meltdown

Don Lampe to Speak on Focus on Mortgage Industry Panel on March 26, 2008
Charlotte and Greensboro Member Don Lampe has been invited to participate on a panel presentation at the Annual Meeting of the Turnaround Management Association/Carolinas Chapter of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC) in Charlotte on March 26, 2008. The presentation is "Focus on the Mortgage Industry," and Don will talk about legal and regulatory aspects of the current mortgage lending "meltdown." Don made a one hour CLE presentation at the Alabama Bar Association Annual Banking Law CLE in Birmingham, AL on February 15, entitled "The Mortgage Meltdown: Legal and Regulatory Issues and Responses." He also was a panelist on a national teleseminar on the pending federal mortgage lending regulations presented by Inside Mortgage Finance Publications on February 26, during which he covered practical compliance issues posed by Regulation Z amendments for an audience of over 400 mortgage industry compliance professionals.
