Presenters:
Mike Longmire, President, Risk Management Associates, Inc. - With nearly 40 years of military, law enforcement, and private sector security experience, Mike now leads the RMA management team in providing unbiased expert advice to both government and private sector clients to prevent crime. He is skilled in conducting risk and vulnerability security assessments; assessing levels of threat; and authoring detailed vulnerability reports and security plans.
Kurt Stakeman, Attorney, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC - Kurt has experience on both sides of the courtroom as a former police attorney and prosecutor in Raleigh and now as a criminal, white collar and traffic defense attorney at Womble Carlyle. A particular focus of Kurt’s work is representation of corporate clients faced with internal criminal issues such as fraud, theft, employee misconduct and data abduction. In those cases Kurt draws on his investigative experience to help the client determine the facts and take the actions merited by those facts, including working with investigators, law enforcement and prosecutors.
John Pueschel, Attorney, Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC - John represents businesses in the increasingly complex area of privacy rights laws and data security.
