Richardson and Derrick to Speak at Carolina Connect Conference

Clint Richardson, head of Womble Carlyle’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Team, will lead a roundtable session at the Carolina Connect Conference on September 11, 2008 at the Grove Park Inn in Asheville, North Carolina. Richardson’s session is entitled "Fundraising Facts of Life – Investors, Deal Structures and Legal Strategies for Growth Companies in a Challenging Economy."

Chris Derrick, also a member of the firm’s Private Equity and Venture Capital Team, will be a panelist in the Power of Angel Investing Seminar hosted by the Kaufman Foundation during the conference. Womble Carlyle, an in-kind sponsor at the conference, is providing all conference speakers and panelists with a copy of Clint Richardson’s book Growth Company Guide 4.0 , a practical resource for entrepreneurs and investors.
