Sandi Wilson, Keith Munson to Make Deposition Presentation to New York ACC Chapter

NEW YORK CITY—Womble Carlyle attorneys Keith Munson and Sandi Wilson will speak to the Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Munson and Wilson will present, “Wincing is Not a Form of Preparation – What ‘The Office’ can teach us about Corporate Representative Depositions.” Their presentation will focus on avoiding pitfalls of the deposition process, using lessons learned from the television show “The Office.” These include:
 
  • The interplay between various deposition and discovery rules;
  • Finding appropriate corporate representatives for various substantive topics;
  • The role of non-litigation attorneys in preparing (or being) witnesses; and
  • Strategies and successful techniques for dealing with aggressive opposing counsel.
The ACC presentation takes place May 25th at The Kitano in New York.
