Supply Chain Roundtable: China Connection
August 25, 2006
Womble Carlyle’s Supply Chain Management Team is starting a series of informal roundtable breakfasts for supply chain management executives to discuss supply chain management issues facing companies in the Triad. Our first roundtable will focus on the "China connection". We are fortunate to have at Womble Carlyle two lawyers from China, Guanming Fang and Fang Liu, who understand how to negotiate successfully and manage the risks associated with doing business in China.
Many companies in the Triad have begun sourcing in China, buying goods from China, or setting up agency or distributor arrangements in China. Most of these ventures are marked by uncertainty about the risks involved, the enforceability of agreements made, and the nuances of negotiating deals with Chinese business people.
Join us on August 25 for a discussion of the China connection in supply chain management.
