Womble Carlyle Hosts Diversity Reception at 2008 DRI Annual Meeting

Womble Carlyle attorneys, John Parker Sweeney, Sky Woodward, Jack Williams and, of course, Winston the Bulldog, were all present to host a Diversity Reception on Thursday, October 23, during the 2008 Annual Meeting of DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar, at the Sheraton New Orleans. DRI and Womble Carlyle welcomed an overflowing crowd of more than 400, including special guest Juan Williams, Senior Correspondent for NPR and Political Analyst for Fox News. The networking reception was open to all conference attendees committed to diversity, and in true New Orleans fashion, it culminated with a marching jazz band leading the group to a mardi gras-style parade.
