WASHINGTON, D.C.—Womble Carlyle is a Diamond Sponsor of the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA_ Capital Connection ’11 conference.

Womble Carlyle’s Dean Rutley, Jeff Cohen, Keith Mendelson, Todd Harris, Sanjay Beri, Karl Knoll, Isabel De Obaldia, Daniel Espensen, and Kel Chin will attend the conference to represent the firm’s emerging technology and venture capital/private equity teams.
 
MAVA Capital Connection is one of the country’s leading venture capital and private equity conferences. More than 800 investors, advisers and entrepreneurs are scheduled to attend. The keynote speakers for this year’s Capital Connection conference are Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, and Paul DePodesta, Vice President of Player Development and Scouting for the New York Mets. The event takes place May 12-13 at the JW Marriott in Washington, D.C.
