Womble Carlyle’s Kel Chin Speaks at ABA Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference

PHILADELPHIA—Womble Carlyle Sales Director Kel Chin was among the speakers at the American Bar Association Law Firm Marketing Strategies Conference 2011.

Chin discussed “The Power of Video in Lawyer Marketing.” He was joined in the discussion by Sarah Feingold, General Counsel at Etsy, Inc., Brian Alpert, Founder of TheLaw.TV, and Nick Gaffney, Partner at Infinite PR.
Discussion topics included:
  • How the use of Web video can be a powerful boost to a law firm’s marketing plan;
  • Scenarios in which video is the optimum medium
  • Pitfalls to be avoided;
  • The best tools for Web-based video;
  • How small and medium-sized firms and individual practitioners can stretch their marketing dollar to be as tech savvy as the big firms.
The conference took place Nov. 8-9 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia.
 
Kel Chin has more than 20 years experience in business and legal services leading and growing startups, middle market turnarounds and global organizations. At Womble Carlyle, he is responsible for leading consultative, client-centric sales initiatives especially in Life Sciences, Product Liability and Emerging Markets. Kel serves as Sales Director for Womble Carlyle’s Washington, D.C.; Northern Virginia; Wilmington, Del.; and Baltimore offices.
