Carolyn Pratt represents employers in employment litigation as well as counsels them with respect to compliance issues with employment laws and regulations.
Her litigation practice includes defending employers in discrimination claims related to Title VII, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, and other state and federal employment laws. This includes representation in federal and state court as well as in administrative proceedings.
In addition, Carolyn guides employers in regulatory compliance issues related to FMLA, FLSA, ADA and other federal and state labor and employment laws. Her broad client base includes representing colleges and universities in employment compliance issues.
A former law clerk in the North Carolina Court of Appeals, Carolyn is a regular contributor to Womble Carlyle’s North Carolina Appellate Blog.
