Lawyer Bio : Christa Geyer*

*Christa Geyer is not licensed to practice law. Her activities are directly supervised by members of the firm licensed to practice law in the firm’s Winston-Salem office.

 

As FirmLogic’s Business Manager, Christa Geyer works directly with clients in providing medical and scientific litigation support.

 

Christa began her career at Womble Carlyle in 1997 and has been a member of the FirmLogic team since 2000. She has managed litigation support services including medical records collection, scanning and coding of documents, and settlement administration. She has led litigation support teams of as many as 100 people and administered settlements ranging from 40 to 90,000 class members.

 

Not only does Christa manage projects, she is also responsible for process improvement. She works to refine and improve workflow processes and enhance personnel skill sets to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective solutions are utilized for clients. She has improved the medical records retrieval process, halving the average time taken to collect records.

 

Christa provides training to clients on FirmLogic Logistics^SM, the Firm’s secure, on-line, litigation support management system from which clients can access medical records retrieved and analytical work products prepared.

 

In addition to her extensive experience, Christa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and an Associates Degree in Paralegal Technologies from Forsyth Technical Community College.
