Dana K. Severance

Dana Severance is an Associate in Womble Carlyle’s Intellectual Property Practice Group in the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office. Dana focuses her practice on patent litigation before U.S. district courts and the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. She has handled numerous infringement matters covering pharmaceuticals with a special emphasis on Paragraph IV Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) disputes in Hatch-Waxman litigation.  Dana is experienced managing cases involving large scale e-discovery and employing cost effective litigation strategies.

Dana also provides local counsel services for out of state clients before the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Early in her career, Dana served as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Mary Pat Thynge in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.
 
Dana serves as a guardian ad litem for minor children in conjunction with the Office of the Child Advocate of the State of Delaware.

Previously, Dana was an attorney at Connolly Bove Lodge & Hutz LLP in Wilmington, Delaware.
