Prior to joining Womble Carlyle, Deonys served as Legal Advisor, Director of Government Appeals in the Compliance Department at Piedmont Healthcare. A registered nurse, Deonys formerly worked in the Interventional Radiology Department and the Neurological Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta and earlier in the Surgical ICU at Shands Teaching Hospital in Gainesville, Florida and the Emergency Department at North Florida Regional Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.
