Ed's practice encompasses the full range of tax-exempt bond financings including healthcare, educational, housing, transportation, infrastructure, environmental and generation facilities. His public finance experience includes new money and refunding issues, hedges, investment agreements, reissuance, and other arbitrage, allocation, expenditure and rebate issues.

Ed has represented issuers, underwriters, borrowers and bond purchasers in addition to serving as special tax counsel. His practice also includes tax controversy proceedings before the IRS and securing private letter rulings and voluntary settlements.

He also advises on tax issues relating to 501(c)(3) institutions, low income housing tax credits, equipment lease financings and like-kind exchanges.
