Betty Temple concentrates her practice in the area of securities law. A substantial portion of Betty’s practice includes advising issuers and underwriters in connection with public offerings and private placements of securities. Betty has also represented companies in a variety of acquisition transactions, including asset purchases and sales, mergers, tender offers and proxy contests. Betty’s venture capital financing experience includes the representation of both start-up companies and venture capitalists. A significant portion of Betty’s practice involves general corporate and securities work for ongoing public and private clients on matters such as SEC compliance, securities and disclosure issues and review of corporate governance matters. Betty also serves as independent special counsel to public company boards of directors and audit and compensation committees.
