Georgi concentrates her practice on medical and scientific issues involved in defense of complex litigation, including finding and developing experts nationally and internationally, working with trial counsel and preparing and defending expert testimony.

In the area of pro bono work, Georgi has acted on behalf of North Carolina's abused and neglected children as a guardian ad litem appellate advocate. She is also working with Womble Carlyle's effort to assist low-income victims of Hurricane Katrina.
