Greg focuses his practice on multi-state and international commercialization of emerging medical devices and health care services, including structuring and financing physician joint ventures and associated health care regulatory compliance. He has significant experience in advising and assisting health care clients in the development, organization, financing and operation of medical technology ventures. He has particular experience in multi-state and international medical ventures involving lithotripsy, anatomical pathology, prostate cancer, enlarged prostate, diagnostic imaging, pain therapy, orthopaedics, refractive laser surgery and surgery centers. He has structured ventures to provide diagnostic and therapeutic medical procedures in all settings, including mobile delivery, physician offices, ambulatory surgery centers, private clinics and hospitals. He advises clients on federal health care compliance, including Stark and Anti-kickback rules, and state health care compliance issues in all 50 states, including licensure, certificate of need, fee splitting, malpractice planning, regulatory compliance, contracting, anti-kickback, physician self-referral laws and tax planning. Greg has also developed health care ventures in over 20 countries.

  • Represented multiple companies in the development of Greenlight laser service ventures in over 15 states.
  • Worked with multiple clients in the development of anatomical pathology labs in multiple states.
  • Worked with public company in the development of prostatherapy ventures in over 10 states.
  • Worked with private U.S. company and French company in development of a prostate cancer center in Ontario, Canada using HIFU ultrasound technology.
  • Represented public and private companies in the development of single- and multi-specialty ambulatory surgery centers in 11 states and 3 countries.
  • Represented public and private companies in the development of laser refractive surgery ventures in over 10 states and 7 countries.
