Jackie, a member of the Firm’s Product Liability group, has focused much of her career on counseling and defending manufacturing entities on a variety of matters.  Her broad range of litigation experience has extended across the country as well as the United Kingdom and she has defended regional, national and international companies alike.
 
Jackie has a wide breadth of experience which allows her to assist clients in protecting themselves and their employees before an issue arises. Jackie also has years of experience defending companies throughout the investigation and litigation process.
 
Jackie is also well versed in risk management and due diligence, and advises clients on such issues as warranty terms and conditions, drafting warning language in contracts seeking to limit liability, and assist clients in claims handling and analysis.
 
Jackie also enjoys working "in-house" for some of her clients and has been seconded on occasion into a large multi-national pharmaceutical corporation, where she has assisted in the management of large scale litigations.  More recently, Jackie has been working with the Risk Management Department of a large multinational organization and providing guidance on claim strategy and claim management practices.
 
Jackie has been named a North Carolina Super Lawyer by Law and Politics and she is pleased to serve as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the non-profit North Carolina Center for Women in Public Service.
