Jessica Gorczynski focuses her practice on patent prosecution related to chemical and pharmaceutical technologies.

Her experience includes prosecuting patents related to:

• Polymers and polymeric materials
• Pharmaceutical compounds
• Fibers
• Product additives
• Biomaterials

Jessica guides clients through patent searches, reviews, and the preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the United States Patent Office. She also assists clients with patent non-infringement and patentability opinions.

Her clients include pharmaceutical companies, chemical and polymer manufacturers, research universities, and life sciences companies.

Before practicing law, Jessica earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Virginia. Her research there related to the synthesis and characterization of metal-centered polymers, involving organic, inorganic, and polymer chemistry.  Her work has been published in numerous academic journals.
