Jill's practice focuses on representing heath care providers in a wide range of organizational, governance, and regulatory issues.  Her regulatory experience includes assisting clients with the following:

  • Stark Law compliance;
  • Federal Anti-Kickback Statute issues;
  • HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance, including compliance with the HITECH Act and Breach Notification Rule;
  • Implementation and use of health information technology;
  • Incentives available to health care providers for the “meaningful use” of electronic health records;
  • Formation and operation of Patient Safety Organizations pursuant to the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005; and
  • Compliance with various state laws, including patient privacy laws as well as state anti-kickback and referral laws (such as the Georgia Patient Self-Referral Act).
Jill’s clients include hospitals, physician groups, patient safety organizations and health care systems.
