  • Stark Law compliance;
  • Federal Anti-Kickback Statute issues;
  • HIPAA Privacy and Security compliance, including compliance with the HITECH Act;
  • Implementation and use of health information technology;
  • Incentives available to health care providers for the “meaningful use” of electronic health records;
  • Formation and operation of Patient Safety Organizations pursuant to the Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Act of 2005; and
  • Compliance with various state laws.
