Jon is a public finance attorney with experience serving as bond counsel, underwriter's counsel, borrower's counsel and bank counsel in financings for local governments, hospitals, universities, colleges, continuing care retirement communities and other authorities and organizations throughout North Carolina. Jon has experience in a variety of tax-exempt and taxable transactions, including general obligation bonds, revenue bonds and certificates of participation. Jon has worked extensively with the Local Government Commission of North Carolina, the North Carolina Medical Care Commission, the North Carolina Capital Facilities Finance Agency and the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina.

In addition to his public finance practice, Jon has represented veterans seeking disability benefits on a pro bono basis and coordinates semi-annual fundraisers for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina for the Firm's Raleigh office.
