Since starting her practice with Womble Carlyle in 2003, Julie has represented clients in both state and federal courts. She has handled a wide variety of civil cases, and focuses primarily on matters involving the defense of public officials and governments. Julie also has extensive experience handling cases involving employer liability and occupational accidents. Her broad litigation practice has included insurance coverage disputes, as well as cases of product liability, negligence, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and construction accidents. Julie enjoys practicing at all levels of litigation, and regularly handles appeals before North Carolina appellate courts. In 2010, 2011 and 2012, Julie was named a Rising Star by North Carolina Superlawyers.
