Keith concentrates his practice in product liability litigation, construction law and litigation, and business litigation. He has significant trial and mediation experience including more than 50 jury trials and appeals. His extensive experience includes the national coordination, management, and defense of complex multi-state, multi-district litigation. He has worked with and developed fact and expert witnesses in a variety of scientific, medical and technical disciplines.
Keith has represented manufacturers of a variety of products in matters of national scope, including construction materials, roofing, siding, tobacco, cigarette lighters, medical devices, agricultural chemicals and automobiles. He has filled significant leadership roles in mass tort litigation, multi-forum matters and class actions, including responsibility for development and implementation of complex action plans, budgets and case management protocols.
Keith has handled litigation for construction product manufacturers in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Texas. He has represented architects, engineers, and contractors in various matters and litigation arising out of the design and construction of projects of all types. He also represents DPIC, a major insurer of architects and engineers in North Carolina, which has involved counseling of architects and engineers during troubled projects for loss prevention, as well as defense in litigation.
