Lawyer Bio : L. Kent Webb

Kent Webb is a member of the Corporate & Securities Practice Group in Womble Carlyle’s Atlanta office. Kent focuses his corporate practice on representing technology clients and institutional clients in technology transactions, and he has extensive experience in commercialization of intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions and private equity financings. Kent also represents and counsels clients in a variety of strategic alliances including outsourcing and offshoring arrangements. Before pursuing his law career, Kent worked at BellSouth Corporation in a variety of capacities for thirteen years. In his final position, he served as the chief financial officer for BellSouth NetSource, a strategic business unit focused on serving the corporation's largest customers. One of the top corporate technology lawyers in Georgia, Kent is the Chair Emeritus of the Technology Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia.
