Lawyer Bio : Kimberly S. Justus

Kim Justus focuses her practice on representing banks, life insurance companies and other financial institutions in commercial lending matters. Her lender work includes drafting and negotiating loan documents and assisting lender clients with all stages of due diligence for real estate secured financing.  She also represents lenders in connection with problem loans, including workouts. 

 

Kim’s clients include a major life insurance company, which she has represented in lending transactions throughout Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee.

 

She has extensive experience in representing landlords and tenants in various forms of leasing, including office, retail and industrial/warehouse. Kim has assisted hospitals and health care providers in leasing facility space, both as a landlord and a tenant.

 

In addition, Kim has significant experience assisting real estate developers with all aspects of real estate acquisition, including negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, restrictive covenants, easements, property owner association and condominium documents, negotiating financing documents, and assisting with all stages of due diligence. 

 

Her representative real estate matters include: representing regional office developer in all leasing matters; representing national and regional residential developers in all stages of acquisition; and representing golf course developers in connection with residential development.
