Steve Dunlevie chairs the Financial Institutions Team at Womble Carlyle Sandridge & Rice, PLLC. Steve's practice is divided among bank regulatory matters, capital formation and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, problem asset resolutions, and matters relating to the duties of financial institution officers and directors. These areas of practice have provided Steve with opportunities to handle corporate and financing transactions involving financial institutions and their holding companies and other related public and private companies, regulatory compliance matters and enforcement actions, and problem loan “work-outs” and related litigation. Steve has served as counsel to over 250 financial services companies and regularly advises their senior management and boards of directors on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and strategic matters.
