Bill Womble, Jr. is an experienced trial attorney. He has handled cases ranging from the most complex class action suits to fact-intensive products liability and disability claims matters. He is particularly skilled at teamwork with the client in finding and developing the facts that led up to a lawsuit, understanding a product or a complex disability claim file, establishing a strategy to successfully arrive at a favorable result, and making even the most technical defenses understandable to a jury, judge or arbiter.

Bill has defended the companies and their employees who design, manufacture and support myriad consumer and commercial products, including automobiles, buses and trucks, kerosene heaters, airplanes and helicopters, propane system components, electric doors and security systems, household appliances and bicycles, to name a few. He has also successfully defended manufacturers of numerous medical products, such as immunoglobulin, respiratory products, prosthetic devices, powered wheelchairs and scooters, bone wax, sterilized packing, angioplasty devices and silicone implants. He represents corporations in their relationships with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the FAA and the FDA. He counsels manufacturers and distributors on supply-chain contracts and consumer protection, including instructions, warnings and warranties.

A former Navy Lieutenant during the Vietnam War, Bill is a trial attorney. He also coordinates litigation and trials nationally for several clients. He is an occasional lecturer and author, and is listed in the Personal Injury and Product Litigation Sections of The Best Lawyers in America. Bill is annually named a North Carolina Super Lawyer.
