AJC Editor Kevin Riley Headlines Womble Carlyle Thought Leader Speaker Series on Nov. 13th

Atlanta Journal-Constitution Editor Kevin Riley is the latest decision-maker to join the Womble Carlyle Thought Leader Speaker Series.
 
Riley discussed innovations at the AJC and the challenges today’s newsrooms face to keep pace in a rapidly changing environment.  He also addressed other current news topics, including the newspaper's landmark investigation into the integrity of high-stakes testing in our nation’s schools – a series titled “Cheating Our Children.”
 
Riley started his journalism career in 1983 at the Dayton (Ohio) Daily News. He became editor of the AJC in 2011, and pens a Sunday column for the newspaper. He is a member of the Board of Trust of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications; a member of the Advisory Board for the Emory University journalism program; a member of the Atlanta Rotary Club; a member of the Ad Council's Leadership Committee in Atlanta; and a member of the American Society of News Editors.
