Bill Ragland Speaks at Metro Atlanta Police Memorial Service

ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle attorney Bill Ragland was among the featured speakers at the annual Metro Atlanta Law Enforcement Appreciation and Memorial Service. Ragland is the President of the Atlanta Bar Foundation and a Past President of the Atlanta Bar Association.
He was joined by Atlanta Police Chief George Turner, current Atlanta Bar Association President Michael Terry and Atlanta Assistant Police Chief Peter Andresen.
The Atlanta Bar Foundation’s Police Scholarship Fund has awarded over $180,000 in college scholarships to children of police officers killed or disabled in the line of duty. Each year at the service, a wreath is placed at a memorial statue donated to the City of Atlanta by the Atlanta Bar Association.
