David McCormack Recertified as Employment & Labor Law Specialist by S.C. Supreme Court

CHARLESTON, S.C.—Womble Carlyle attorney David McCormack has been recertified as an Employment & Labor Law Specialist by the South Carolina Supreme Court. The recertification, which took effect December 8, 2012, is effective for five years.
David McCormack is a labor and employment attorney who has represented employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies for more than 30 years. He has litigated a variety of employment-related matters, including wrongful termination claims, employment discrimination claims and claims involving non-competition/trade secret agreements. McCormack also provides advisory and counseling services in such areas as employment contracts, employee handbooks, restrictive covenants, family and medical leave, disability law requirements, and sexual and other unlawful harassment. He practices in Womble Carlyle’s Charleston office.
