E-Commerce Times Interviews Sandy Smith Regarding Proposed Groupon IPO
March 21, 2011
ATLANTA—Womble Carlyle corporate and securities attorney Sandy Smith recently was interviewed by E-Commerce Times in an article about the reported Groupon IPO.
Smith tells the publication that a Groupon IPO would be somewhat uncharted territory, but that the social media shopping company is well-positioned as the dominant leader in its sector.
“Still, given the large appetite for equities associated with social media-related companies, the challenge will be to determine what the market will bear,” Smith tells E-Commerce Times.
Sandy Smith is a “deal attorney” with a diverse national practice managing, negotiating and completing corporate and financial transactions for both private and public businesses.
