Four IP Transaction Attorneys Join Womble Carlyle Team

IP Transaction Team Adds Experienced Lawyers in Atlanta, Raleigh/Durham and D.C. markets.

Womble Carlyle’s IP Transaction Team has added four additional experienced attorneys, expanding the firm’s client service capabilities in this growing practice area.
The new team members are:
- Nadia Aram has experience drafting and negotiating a broad variety of contracts, including technology licenses and other complex commercial agreements to help clients realize the value of their intellectual property and technology assets day-to-day, and as part of strategic product and technology acquisitions and divestitures. Nadia also practices in the areas of advertising and promotions, and franchising. She has been with Womble Carlyle since 2006 in the Corporate & Securities practice group.
- Matt Cash comes to the firm’s Atlanta office from Weinstock & Scavo. Matt prepares and negotiates trademark and technology licensing agreements, promotional services and co-promotion agreements, talent and sponsorship contracts, consulting and other commercial agreements.
- Jocelyn Fina comes to the firm’s Research Triangle Park, N.C. office from Moore & Van Allen, PLLC. Jocelyn focuses her practice on preparing and negotiating technology and software licenses, clinical research services agreements, development and commercialization agreements, laboratory and biotechnology service agreements and confidentiality assurances. In addition, she counsels clients in the areas of copyright and trademark law.
- Jennifer Williston focuses her practice on preparing and negotiating intellectual property licenses and other complex transactions, intellectual property portfolio management, trademark prosecution and litigation, and securing and enforcing copyrights. A former Trademark Examining Attorney at the USPTO, she comes to the firm from Buchanan, Ingersoll & Rooney and a brief stint as Interim Associate General Counsel at Ascend Therapeutics. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Washington, D.C., office.
