Four Womble Carlyle Attorneys Honored By Maryland Super Lawyers

BALTIMORE—Womble Carlyle attorneys David B. Hamilton, John Parker Sweeney and T. Sky Woodward have been named 2010 Maryland Super Lawyers. In addition, Super Lawyers has recognized attorney James Patrick “J.P.” Scholtes as a 2010 Rising Star.
Hamilton was named a Maryland Super Lawyer for Business Litigation, while Sweeney was honored for Class Action/Mass Tort Litigation and Woodward was recognized for Product Liability Defense Litigation and named to the Maryland Top 25 Women Lawyers list. Scholtes was named a Rising Star in the field of Business Litigation.
Maryland Super Lawyers is a listing of the top five percent of lawyers in the state who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The multi-step process involved soliciting nominations from attorneys across the state (lawyers were not allowed to vote for themselves), followed by a thorough case-by-case review of each nominee.
